Well, today was our final Kennywood Day with the kids. I braved the Pittsburgh roads with my buddy Linda with printed directions from Michelle LeWinter, and somehow, between the three of us, Linda and I made it there and back with five kids.
The kids had a great time. I somehow only took pictures of Carson, it really bums me not to have pictures of the other two. Emily spent most of her time with her girlfriends, so I barely saw her. I guess I was busy keeping Carson happy and didn’t take pictures of Josh.
My time spent apart from Bill is coming to the bittersweet end. I have grown from the experience and I think we have both grown to appreciate each other much more. If there is one thing I have learned it is that it definitely takes “a village” to raise a family. I have had so much help from friends and neighbors, I am truly blessed to have such wonderful people in my life.
Okay, getting a little mushy. Better go.
Jenny

I know everyone knows we’re moving in June, but now we finally sold our house!!! Ofcourse I am still depressed about leaving all my friends here, and i hope I won’t be when i get to Phoenix. But it’s just like what my dad has said ” We’re going to start a new chapter of life. So i know that I haven’t put a blog on in a long time and I think everyone wants to know what is going on with me!!! I am having a birthday party this year on the 26th so I’m really excited about that. Also on May 12th I will be picked up early from school and I will be drove straight to the airport because I AM GOING TO SEE MY DADDIO!!!!! I won’t be back untill Monday around 8:30 at night. Today my mom left to go visit my daddy in Arizona and she won’t be back untill Monday. So today we had Dorothy babysit then Mrs. Haney came and drove Dorothy home but that was whenever Karie got here to babysit. Then Karie will be spending the night here and ofcourse she brought crazy Christian. The best part for me is in the morning BEFANY SEIBEL and the rest of the gang are coming and all of them are staying the night. Finally on Sunday Carson, Josh, and I will be going to the VanBibber’s to stay the night and Mrs.VanBibber will get us on the bus in the morning. Since Megan, Sarah, and Katie Pruss live right next the VanBibber’s so I am going to walk up to the bus stop with them. There is alot more to say like I am into different music, and I LOVE scary movies…… well that may not be different. Soooo…… everyone take care!!!

Well, yes we made it back before any horrible rain or chilly weather, but we came back to rain and chilly, very chilly weather. Hard to believe we were complaining about how much we were sweating less than a week ago. We did have a fun time, after only one day Emily wanted to know when our next trip would be there, I told her to enjoy this one and we will worry about the next Disney trip later. My two funniest memorable moments would have to be when Josh was hot tubbing in the closed hot tub, I guess he needs to brush up on his reading skills, there were two big signs around the ledge of the tub that said “pool closed” temporarily. I overheard someone saying a boy was over in the closed pool, I thought Josh was with Bill, but something told me to go check to make sure the “boy” wasn’t Josh. And of course it was.
Anyway, Carson cracked me up when a lady at the pool asked him his name and he replied “Ta’un Pi’ke–short i. I just howled and thought about how we need to continue his speech therapy. He is coming along very well at therapy, but it takes a while for it to carry over into his everyday speech. He is going to be tested again tomorrow by the state funded people, I figured the more therapy, the better. Anyway, my favorite park would have to be Epcot. We did each park at least twice, sometimes more, except for the water parks. The trip came with ups and downs, but for the most part it was an experience of a lifetime for the kids and I do feel they are very fortunate to get to go there, the expense of things at Disney is horrendous. We will scale the next trip back, we only slept at the hotel and occasionally looked out at the animals. Seems like the same ones slept below our room everynight. If I think of more funny moments, I will post them too. I will attempt to post pics, I meant to do that with this e-mail, but don’t think I can anymore. Hope all is well throughout the family and hope you have much warmer weather than we do. I am going on a hayride with Carson tomorrow, it will be freezing. I like the crisp hayride weather, but not the premature winter weather!!! Love, Jenny
